Natalie brings 20 years of experience in the tech industry, having worked in diverse locations such as Cape Town, London, Los Angeles, and Sydney. Her career spans exciting sectors including Telecommunications, Health, Retail, Entertainment, Finance, and Insurance.”
Her career highlights include leading the first implementation of Spec Savers Optometry software that used a mouse! Designing, coding, and managing software solutions for Pick’nPay, South Africa’s largest supermarket retailer. Supporting one of the first online TV gaming platforms, GoPlayTV, for Sony Pictures Entertainment. Additionally, she has worked in Finance at the London Clearing House and redesigned the search engines for the world’s ISBN Catalogue. Natalie’s experience also extends to impactful projects in Insurance with MLC and Chubb.
A lifelong passion for culinary arts led Natalie to train at Le Cordon Bleu, resulting in a decade as the founder and solo owner of successful food startups. Her former business, Momma Kombucha, was a gut-healthy food production startup in Brookvale, where they supplied 90 of the finest providores, including David Jones, Maloney’s, and The Boat Shed in Perth, winning six Sydney Fine Food awards. After selling Momma Kombucha and driven by a desire to make a positive impact, she started exploring the NDIS industry, forming relationships, and gaining an understanding of the system. This journey led Natalie to join the BuildSmartt team, one of SSP’s in-house PropTech startups , dedicated to humanising the spaces where people live, work, and play.
Natalie has since primarily transitioned to SSP, focusing on Operations and Commercials. Here, Natalie collaborates with founders to grow and promote their businesses, leveraging the combined expertise and philosophy of SSP to leave a lasting, positive impact on the world.
Natalie is a very proud and busy mum of two nearly teenage boys. As a family, they enjoy spending weekends cycling the beautiful pathways of Sydney and the Northern Beaches.
